I can't speak for anyone else (certainly not Tat), but my perception is that he's taking aim at gender. Radical feminism tends to view gender as an oppressive system - hurting all people, but particularly females, as it is hierarchical. I am of the same mind, personally, and am a gender abolitionis...

Squigley does not deserve your compassion or sympathy. His victims do. The problem with that is Tats story telling. I agree, the victims deserve more sympathy. For quite a while now, Tat got this habit of making each week into a mini storyline that gets a sunday payoff. It makes sense in a way, exploring different aspects of a topic and all that. Still, considering this and the two following strips, I think just having this one alone would have been strong...
