Ah this one, total one off gag, doesn't give a fuck about who it offends, funny for the time it was posted, but definitely intentionally on the offensive side of comedy, would have gotten Tat roasted alive if posted today probably, I still get a chuckle out of it, but then my sense of humor is super weird and all over the place, honestly...I can laugh at just about anything? Still if you new guys think that this one would be super offensive today, wait till you see the one after it, which you probably will because I'm taking somebody's advice and doing multiple pages a day.
Oof, Blaxploitation Funk Bible...This one, the audacity of it makes me chuckle, but it's really only through the nostalgia for the old comic that the Joke still lands for me, but Tat was/is no stranger to controversial humor meant to rise through sheer audacity, and that's what attracted me to this Comic.

Last one for this Thread, though it's title won't be going into the Title of this Topic because it won't fit haha,I'd make a juvenile joke but I'm not eager to get bannned again, but January 22, 2000: Star Wars, I'm not gonna lie, of the three Joke Pannels, only the middle one actually lands for me, I don't get the first one, and the third just seems...I dunno off.(Yeah the image is broken but it's not like you guys can't just go to the page yourself now can you? posting the image is for posterity's sake.)
Still just because sometimes the Joke doesn't land...Doesn't mean we can't still enjoy the older things in life now does it?
EDIT: P.S I am not looking forward to doing the three strips from January 25 to 28, I feel like those are gonna get me banned on principle if I don't denounce them, which isn't what this series is about.)

Nice! Don't see the third one, but you have provided enough info I can look for myself.
I think the 3 per page review is a great format - just enough to create an arc but not too much for the audience to absorb.
Looking forward to your show.

Thanks I appreciate that, I might do 2 instead of three today so I can get the whole Matriarchy Arc from 25 to 27 since the next two are their own arc as of themselves?RikkiTikkiTavi wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 4:37 amNice! You can also just look for a highlight reel format but that isn't what I'm here to mention today. First today's strip of "what are YOUR pronouns" is something that I classically reply to with "whatever you want them to be."
Secondly I refer the Blaxploitation one to the detective "Jim Slate: Big Black Dick." The Clinton one is funny, only it's overly niche, he could've gone with "use the smokes" I suppose. The "Who's Your Daddy" is just Tat being silly with religious references. The truth is original Sinfest was in some college newspaper and wasn't even called Sinfest, it was the prequel and I didn't bother much with it lmao. As for "strong enough for a man, made for a woman," I'll look that one up....
