November 4, 2018: Woke Television 25
At some point in the past I thought that a key (like a secret decoder ring) to understanding the comic was to understand Buddhism -- people's lusts forming habits (their inner demons).
I'm surprised, I find it remarkable, to see anger on the face of the ostensible heroine here, and killing.
I realise it's only fiction (i.e. a famous scene from Jaws), but still. Perhaps this isn't being as good as a man but, rather, as bad -- and a different kind of porn, I'm sorry to say, i.e. violence.
Fight oppression and so on is all very well, but ... (*wrings hands*)
Normally the sisterhood is, when they must, destroying drones (which I imagine are non-sentient beings).
Anyway I don't suppose the little Buddha-on-his-cloud would act like that towards the "shark", if he were there.
This is "Devil TV" again, I guess.

New person here. I think you've got it right. Sure, the Woke TV version of the movie has a female heroine, but she's white, has the stereotypical "perfect" body that the media forces down women's throats, is half naked, and committing an act of violence with a big gun.BlueUnicorn wrote:Perhaps he's saying that regarding even those media outlets that appear to be on our side, it's all Devil TV.
Rather than create an actually strong and independent female action hero, she's just a white male fantasy, which, along with other evidence in recent comics, proves you right, that the message is that mainstream media has co-opted the "Woke" message and twisted it for their own nefarious purposes.
It's all Devil TV in the end.
