I feel bad for Absinthe in today's strip.... She's supposed to be sweet and this is cute and all but wow. In case we needed reminder that she's still a devil person? Hahahaha.

Silence is compliance? ACAB's narrative?
Then again, the red side's the trigger for Blue in today's strip....

yeah, she's a devil, if those were real I guess they would hate christian simbology. well, if they were actually part of the christian mythos that is.
I'm finding hilarious how 2021 is being raised by very christian rednecks lol, I just don't get what's the connection with our 2021. then again, I stopped being up to date with USA politics...

Doesn't feel very connected to our 2021... If anything, she'd be raised in captivity by the media

No, no... 2020 was the one who got held captive. 2021 has a shot at being a little wiser. Ideally the years switch between the male and female as time... goes on! Either that or Tat throws us a curveball and makes a trans 2022.

I don't think tat's gonna make male years anymore... maybe he makes a transman year if things get bad as in transactivism becomes the next predominant religion, that's their plan at least. an unchallenged dogma. patriarchy 2.0. but hopefully it's exactly that: a failed attemp to make patriarchy acceptable, the last breath of a dying hierarchy.

Yeah this whole transactivism bit is getting old not because it's overplayed (which it isn't), but because it isn't really a conspiracy by now. "Predominant religion" is right, and they are being too obvious now, so of course it's easy to call them out on it. The world gets what's up by now it seems. That's where Cat In The Potato Head stuff works in the comic's favor-- all the jokes align with the stop transactivism stance. It helps to separate all the wolves in sheep's clothing, plus have the comic be fresh and current with world events.
But what of the characters? The plot is... going somewhere. The end, like One Piece, is nowhere in sight. But the signs that lore from Sinfest will play out in certain ways are there, plotlines that will be useful in time. Yeah the transman years stuff is a bit far fetched, no doubt there. I just like when the comic gets weird. Like, Ghost of Lilith weird. Or how Squig's been around, I've loved his screen time in all this.
Question is, what of all the options? What becomes of the main characters? Fuchsia and Crim are free, and Vainglorious is ready for action. Blue on the other hand.... More with D Man's vault? The Bakery? Sleaze is still running around, so's Storytime, even Francis. Just like how One Piece is in the Wano War, we are in a golden age of Sinfest in this humble commenter's opinion.
