I know that the comic strips are prepared ahead of time and that this obviously is referring to the truck protests, but given the current events in East Europe this particular strip seems to have unfortunate timing and parallels with the Russian leader's announcement yesterday.

It means the theme is on point, yes. Also fascinating is even having a way to convey all this to us in a clandestine manner. Comics and clowns historically have trouble with authority and the population at large in this manner of course-- to risk overly offending the target of any given joke...?
