A magical journey indeed. You know what I'd tell that kid? I believe there is dignity in simplicity. I think all those sparkles and bright colors are there to conceal the insecurities of those who cloak themselves in them. It's a case of shouting to the stars that something is true in the vain hope that if you shout loud enough, somehow it will become true. Yet a lie will always be a lie. No matter how glittery it is.

I think the Big Gender series are spot on in making a humorous analogy of current events. As usual, Tat is able to put a lovely absurd spin on things while at the same time illuminating the underlying issue. It is a breath of fresh air. Tat's artistry and wit are a high point of my day.
