"Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn declared his full support for Britain to look at changing our prostitution laws by criminalising the purchase of sex, also referred to as the â€˜Nordic modelâ€™.

In an interview with Sophie Ridge on Sky, Corbyn said the Government should look to Sweden and other countries where they have successfully brought in laws that make buying sex illegal."

Wonderful! Really happy I saw this, however belatedly. Corbyn and Labour in general have taken some disappointing stances lately, but this is an extremely positive move. So odd that this wasn't trumpeted by the usual Corbyn-adoring "progressive" blogs, innit? Almost like the nominally progressive or socialist men running those sites turn in to free-market libertarians when it comes to buying poor girls to fuck.

Wait a sec - buying sex isn't illegal in all 50 states in the US ? Only selling sex? Sorry to be stupid about this. I can probably help fix this where I live right now. Wow - I have a lot to learn.
