What happens in between when we close our eyes and when we wake up? Many take certain molecules for the purposes of finding some of that out. Others have other means. And further, what is food yet molecular and directly in contact with that given experience? Does technology merely leave us an avenue of sustenance through direct energy transfer. Why aren't we taking energy out of gas molecule by molecule rather than in the large magnitudes of modern day usage?
Somehow I sleep quite nicely in the face of all this. In fact, I am tempted to pin it on all the alcohol. Yet, alas, the weed plays a role too. Not to mention junk food. And golly I sure did get out of porn world yet it got replaced with gambling in a sense. And when I wake up, it happens all over again. On one count I make a fair bit of progress, which is that of inertia. The music plays, the sun will shine, the courage found.
I think of it moderately. I'm an animal. Animals eat. An animal is a biocomputer. Our energy source-- refined sunlight. Our continual cosmic humanity wave of existence. All time aside, miraculously we are a band of long term beings which seem to do something. That, universally, counts for something. We don't just not do what we are here to do. We do it. Dance, sex, "like a kiss, like cancer". Pervasive is our existence, off we are to exist some more it seems currently!
