March 10, 2020: Narcissus (and a question about the girl)

From what I remember this girl (don't remember her name, sorry) has spent the last few years hiding in the bomf hole being scared back in by giant robots every time she poked her head out. How is it that she's suddenly got the courage to go back to the bomf district and walk among the men? I have a feeling this is one of those questions that will answer itself in time, but it still feels like a large jump.

It does seem a bit of a leap, but then she was pretty confident while scowling at Squig and freeing her coworkers, so perhaps she's naturally confident, and the cautiousness was a temporary fear of losing that freedom. Or her life. :/

I'm more interested in whether she'll realise her own hipocrisy. She's more than happy to enter an art gallery based on the pictures of a handsome man, but Squig's somehow the devil for wanting a video of a pretty woman? Vain chose to make those pics yeah, but we've heard that before, and we're not supposed to believe it then either.

Does the art gallery not count as porn? Why? He's got his top off and he's being ogled by random women. He's not being abused, sure, but she doesn't know that.

On the upside, this could be the key to her growth as a person.

She could realise that looking at pics of pretty people, esp when you don't know (yet) if they're being abused/manipulated, doesn't make you a bad person.

Is it too much to hope that she shows up on Squig's doorstep and tells him that she forgives him?

Girl learns, grows as a person, and forgives Squigley.

...No?

I thought the main point of Squigs mental beatdown was he was taking pleasure in looking at pictures where woman were forced into sexual acts but didn't understand they were not doing so willingly. Crim and Hooded guys paintings are sexual but not depicting sexual acts so its not really the same.
