What Happened to Buddha?

It been a while since we've seen Buddha.
Last time we saw him, he was on his cloud with the man who turned into a frog on April 2015.
So what has he been up to? And will we ever see him again?

I'd love to see Buddha again, but it doesn't seem he fits into the recent - and not so recent - story arcs, even though the Hand of God recently made a brief appearance.
Oh, I miss Dragon too. Always beautiful and elegant.
